Need a Birthday Party Idea? Have a “Party” at the Pool
The Town Hall Pool is available for CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTIES. Limited time slots on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons are available. Reservations are required and space is available on a first come first serve bases. “You bring the kids and we provide the water!” Call the Recreation Office for reservation information and fees.

Effective September 4th, 2007 Welcome to the Plainfield Public Pool The swimming pool is open to both Plainfield residents and non-residents during any public swim times. There are specific times designated to adults only. All individuals using the pool are required to follow the posted pool rules and have a membership (purchased at office) or pay a per visit fee (paid to lifeguard at the pool). The daily fees are listed below: DAILY POOL FEE: Adults $3.00 Youth $2.00 (3- to 17 years) Additional discounted multi visit tickets and memberships are available at the Recreation Office

FOR YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH PLEASE OBEY THESE RULES: All Person shall bathe with warm water and soap before entering the pool. Upon entering pool Please report to the lifeguard to sign-in and pay fee. Any person know or suspected of having a communicable disease, open sores or wound shall not use the pool. Spitting or blowing the nose in pool is prohibited. Proper bathing suits must be worn- No cut-offs or T-shirts Children in diapers must have a tightly sealed rubber pant over diaper or swim diaper. No diving is permitted off the deck of the pool. Use steps and ladders for getting in and out of the pool. Jumping allowed between ladders in deep end only. Long hair must be tied back or in a bathing cap. Running, boisterous or rough play in the water, on the deck or in locker room is prohibited Only Coast Guard approved flotation allowed in the pool– An adult must be in the water with each child. Children must be accompanied by an adult if they can not touch the bottom of the pool. No food or glass containers allowed in pool area or locker rooms. Do not leave valuables in the locker room. Any lock used must be removed daily. Emergency phone located at deep end of pool. FLOORS AND DECKS ARE SLIPPERY-Walk with caution. Water Exercise Classes
§ Spring session is 8 weeks Classes start week of April 14th § Pre-registration required at the Recreation Office Limited Class sizes COST Mon-Wed-Fri 7:30am Hydro-Jogging $65 Mon-Wed-Fri 8:30am Stretch and Tone -Light Aerobic $65 Mon-Wed-Fri 4:30pm High Cardio Aquatic Fitness $65 Mon- Wed 7:00pm Cardio Aerobic (deep water) check for starting date Tue-Thu 8:000am Cardio Aerobic– Tone $45
Hydro-Jogging: If you can’t take the pounding of the rebound, but still want a challenging cardio workout this is for you! Class is spent in both deep and shallow water in a variety of body positions. You will travel in different modes with cardio calisthenics movement on each end of pool. Cardio-Aerobics: A medium paced class that can be modify for all levels pick-up the pace or slow it down depending on your level. Includes strength and flexibility exercises. High Cardio Aquatic Fitness: A shallow and deep water workout with a variety– aerobic dance, kickboxing, aqua jogging and interval training with low and no impact modifications. A great cross training workout that includes all over strength and conditioning. Stretch and Tone: Class includes warm-up followed by cardio segment of standard calisthenics moves in shallow water. The toning portion uses a variety of equipment in both deep and shallow water. Stretching and cool down finish the hour leaving you feeling energized for the day. Can be combined with aqua jog for a total workout
