Welcome to the Registrar of Voters
The Registrar of Voters Office is a vital department to the function of the Town's government. The Office is governed
by Connecticut General Statutes and financially supported by the Municipality. The Registrar of Voters has a wide
variety of responsibilities for everything from preparing and certifying the official voting list, to ensuring we
have fair, accurate and efficient elections.

Enrollment Session for the purpose of registration and/or enrollment of electors
entitled to vote. Registrars will also hear request for adding names to
the registry list by persons removed. Session will be held at the
Plainfield Town Hall, 8 Community Avenue, Plainfield on Saturday October 16
from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Last Enrollment Session before November 2 Election for the purpose of
registration and/or enrollment of electors entitled to vote. Registrars
will also hear request for adding names to the registry list by person removed.
Session will be held at the Plainfield Town Hall, 8 Community Avenue, Plainfield
on Tuesday October 26 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Limited Registration Session for those seeking to vote in the November 2
Election whose qualification as to age, citizenship or residence was attained
since October 26 will be held on Monday November 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00
noon.

The Town of Plainfield has 4 villages and 5 polling districts:
- 2 in the village of Plainfield, located at the Plainfield Town Hall, in the Auditorium
- 1 at the Central Village Fire Department
- 1 at the Mooosup Village Fire Department
- 1 at the Wauregan Village Fire Department
The Town of Plainfield is represented by two State Representative Districts: the 44th and the 45th. At this present
time Steve Mikutel (D) represents the 45th District and Mae Flexer (D) represents the 44th.
